This engineering program focuses on two core areas — Power Systems and Electrical Equipment. Students gain foundational and advanced knowledge of power sources, grids, power plants, electrical machines, electrical equipment, renewable energy and automation in power systems. The program develops the ability to design, operate, maintain and technically manage electrical systems and equipment, and to apply modern technologies to them. Graduates can work at power utilities, electrical-equipment manufacturers, industrial plants, engineering consultancies and organisations in the energy sector.
