Course description
The purpose of this course is to provide basic knowledge of multimedia systems. Students learn about multimedia protocols VoIP, SIP, RTP, RTCP, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), RTSP, H.320, H.323; Streaming technologies and systems: Windows Media, QuickTime, Real; video conferencing technologies. In addition, the course also introduces the quality of services on multimedia networks and builds systems and develops applications on Multimedia networks. The course also helps students strengthen their teamwork, reporting and presentation skills.

Mục đích môn học này là trang bị các kiến thức cơ bản về hệ thống đa phương tiên. Sinh viên được học về các giao thức trong multimedia VoIP, SIP, RTP, RTCP, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), RTSP, H.320, H.323; các công nghệ và hệ thống Streaming như Windows Media, QuickTime, Real; các công nghệ hội thảo truyền hình. Bên cạnh đó môn học cũng giới thiệu về chất lượng dịch vụ trên mạng multimedia và xây dựng hệ thống và phát triển ứng dụng trên mạng Multimedia. Môn học cũng giúp sinh viên tăng cường kỹ năng làm việc nhóm, báo cáo và thuyết trình.
