Course description
This course provides students with basic knowledge on software engineering such as methods, tools, and phases in software development. Through the course, the students can analyse and design a complete software including database design. Besides, to improve the practical skills of students, they will be familiar with one of DBMSs like SQL Server, and a typical query language SQL.

Học phần trang bị cho sinh viên các khái niệm cơ bản liên quan đến kỹ thuật phần mềm như quá trình, phương pháp, công cụ trong kỹ thuật phần mềm, các giai đoạn (pha) phát triển phần mềm. (This course provides students with basic knowledge on software engineering such as methods, tools, and phases in software development) Trong học phần này, sinh viên còn được trang bị các khái niệm và kiến thức để có thể phân tích và thiết kế hoàn chỉnh một phần mềm bao gồm cả thiết kế hệ thống cơ sở dữ liệu. (Through the course, the students can analyse and design a complete software including database design) Ngoài ra, để trang bị kiến thức thực hành, sinh viên còn được làm quen với một hệ quản trị cơ sở dữ liệu thông dụng là SQL Server, và một ngôn ngữ truy vấn điển hình là SQL.
