Course description
This course provides students with the knowledge to build a general model of an information system based on information theory. Students will be able to model an information system based on information theory, to understand and calculate simple statistical optimization codes and simple channel codes after completing this module. The course also provides students with practical skills and necessary attitudes in order to conduct experiments, develops teamwork and writing skills.

Học phần này nhằm trang bị cho sinh viên kiến thức xây dựng mô hình chung cơ bản một hệ thống thông tin theo lý thuyết thông tin. Sau khi học xong học phần này, sinh viên có khả năng mô hình hóa một hệ thống thông tin theo lý thuyết thông tin, hiểu và tính toán được các mã thống kê tối ưu đơn giản và mã kênh đơn giản. Môn học cũng cung cấp cho sinh viên kỹ năng thực hành và thái độ cần thiết khi làm thực nghiệm, phát triển kỹ năng làm việc nhóm và viết báo cáo.
