Course description
Introduction to the Vietnamese Hardware Description Language (VHDL) and FPGA technology. Focus on using FPGAs in the design of applications related to embedded systems in measurement and control (replacing designs using microcontrollers). Upon completion of this module, students should be able to: • Understand the structure of an FPGA platform and how to program FPGAs using VHDL • Design several basic and advanced digital circuits on an FPGA platform • Present a design explanation • Develop teamwork skills
